MERIDIAN YACHTS RECOGNIZED FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION EXCELLENCE

KNOXVILLE, TN (July 17, 2008) - Founded in 2002, Meridian Yachts offers discriminating boaters a premier collection of livable, cruising motoryachts, presented and serviced by the finest dealer network in the marine industry.
The combination of livable space, highly maneuverable yachts, and a superior ownership experience has proven popular with boaters around the world, propelling the brand's remarkable ascension to the top of its class. Meridian's leadership status was further cemented today when it was named as a recipient of the National Marine Manufacturer's Association prestigious Customer Satisfaction Index Award.

Meridian Yachts received the award in the "Inboard Flybridge Sedans & Convertible Boats" category for achieving an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past year. Survey results were based on information provided by more than 66,000 consumers who purchased a new boat or engine during the period between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association represents recreational marine companies that account for 80 percent of the boats, engines, trailers, accessories and gear used by boaters in the United States. NMMA launched its CSI program in 2001 to provide boat and engine manufacturers with an independently-measured, cost-effective tool to help improve customer satisfaction in the boating industry.

Meridian Yachts builds Sedan, Motoryacht and Pilothouse models from 35 to 60 feet. Each model is built in a 500,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Washington State that employs more than 650 skilled craftsmen and women.
